Update....

I always hate to post somber news, but I know there are a lot of people wondering how Marcus is doing. He really is deteriorating fast. We are pretty sure that he could "go" at anytime now. He is so week, unable to see or even speak much. His breathing is getting more and more erratic and his pulse is fast and unstable. He has been in more pain, so we are adjusting his meds to keep him more comfortable. He mostly sleeps, he doesn't eat and only has very few fluids since he can't swallow much. We are just praying that he goes quickly so he doesn't suffer.

Thanks to all those who are getting Marcus's name out there for good thoughts and prayers. Thanks for all the well wishes, comments and prayers you have left here and on his carepage. It is so wonderful to see how many love and care for us and especially Marcus.

I have been thinking about you everyday since I found your blog a few weeks ago. I was wondering how Marcus had been doing. I pray not only for Marcus but for you as well. No mother should go through watching their child lose his life. May the Lord keep you close to his heart and give you all the strength you will need at this very sad time. Sandy in Leonardtown, MD.

Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that I got the update from Care pages today and then saw your blog address as a visitor on my blog when I clicked on it, it brought me here.

When I read your care page update today it put me in tears once again.

I know I do not even know you, but I am really praying for peace for Marcus and your family! I can not imagine the pain, you are in right now. I know God has a reason, and a purpose for this, and he will give you all the strength to endure!

I am an RN, so I have great understanding of where Marcus is right now, and I hope and pray the pain medication is keeping him comforatble, and the Angels will guide him to his savior soon!

Karen,

I wanted to stop by and say that Marcus and your family have remained in our thoughts and prayers. I can only speak from experience that I know the heartache of losing a child and know that there are no words that can take away the pain you are all feeling right now.

The magnitude of peace that we were able to feel from Zoë after she passed away was amazing and unexplainable and I know that she is now shining bright on us from the other side.

May peace bring Marcus and your family comfort in the last days you have with him here on earth and may he forever be in your hearts.

Wishing Marcus and your family peace and strength...

(((Hugs))))

My heart and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time. Your mom has kept me posted. I shed tears with you when I got the email from your Mom. You have been through so much and I know that Marcus knew of your committment to him. I have sweet memories of he and Jordan playing togther as little boys. Oh how time passes. Please know of our love for your and your family.

Hugs from Mexico!
